Job summary

Wates Property Services is hiring a Multi Trader for Derbyshire to join our responsive maintenance team, delivering essential repairs within social housing properties. You will be a key part of the front-line team, ensuring residents receive a high-quality, efficient service and repairs are completed right first time.

You will carry out repairs across carpentry, plumbing, plastering and tiling, diagnose faults, and report work carried out.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven experience in social housing or responsive maintenance.
• Ability to carry out multi-trade work to a high standard.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a “right first time” approach.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and renewals across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling).
