18 Recruitment Limited is recruiting for multiple Multi-Skilled Voids Operatives to support a social housing voids operation in Derby/Derbyshire and Sheffield/South Yorkshire. Ongoing work is available for experienced candidates with proven social housing voids experience.

Role involves joinery, plumbing, tiling, decorating and general maintenance within empty properties. Immediate starts available for suitable applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing void properties is essential.
• Must be multi-skilled across several trades and able to work independently.
• Own van and tools preferred; CSCS card or trade qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery and general carpentry tasks within void properties.
• Perform plumbing and kitchen/bathroom repairs as part of refurbishment works.
• Carry out tiling and patch plastering as required on site.
• Carry out flooring and internal door repairs.

NOW RECRUITING: MULTI-SKILLED VOIDS OPERATIVES

Locations: Derby / Derbyshire & Sheffield / South Yorkshire

We are looking to recruit a number of experienced Multi-Skilled Voids Operatives to join our growing social housing operation, with ongoing work available for the right candidates.

Previous social housing voids experience is essential.

We need genuinely multi-skilled operatives who can work independently and complete a wide range of repairs and refurbishment works within empty properties.

The role will involve:

• Joinery and general carpentry
• Plumbing and kitchen/bathroom repairs
• Tiling and patch plastering
• Flooring and internal door repairs
• Skirting boards, ironmongery and general maintenance
• Decorating, finishing works and snagging

Requirements:

• Proven experience working on social housing void properties
• Multi-skilled across several trades
• Own van and tools preferred
• CSCS card or relevant trade qualifications preferred
• Ability to work independently from a schedule of works
• Good productivity, time management and attention to detail
• Ability to provide photographic evidence of completed works
• Experience working to Schedule of Rates / NHF rates would be advantageous
• Rates: Around £21-£22 per hour CIS for experienced operatives, depending on skills and experience

Work: Immediate starts available, with ongoing opportunities as the voids operation grows.
