Niyaa People is seeking 4–5 hands-on Multi-Trade Operatives to cover Dorset, delivering repairs across voids, responsive repairs, and planned works in social housing. You may work with a company van or your own unbranded van, with day rates of £180–£200.

Expect ongoing work across established housing contracts, with start dates between 2 November and 16 November. Ideal for skilled tradespeople with broad multi-trade capabilities and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance across void and tenanted properties.

Multi-Trade Operative

Roles covering Dorset, paying £180 per day with a company van and fuel card, or £200 per day with your own unbranded van. I'm looking for 4–5 experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to work across a mixture of voids, responsive repairs and planned works within social housing. This is a great opportunity for hands‑on tradespeople with broad multi‑trade skills who want consistent, ongoing work across established housing contracts.

As a Multi-Trade Operative, you will be:

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance across void and tenanted properties.
• Completing planned works and property refurbishments.
• Undertaking a variety of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and decorating.
• Working across multiple social housing contracts throughout Dorset.
• Delivering high-quality work while maintaining health and safety standards.
• Working professionally in residents' homes and ensuring properties are ready for occupation.
• Managing your workload and completing jobs efficiently.

• Strong experience working across multiple trades.
• Essential social housing experience.
• Experience in voids, responsive repairs and planned maintenance.
• The flexibility to travel across Dorset between allocated jobs.
• A reliable, professional approach and the ability to work independently.
• A range of practical trade skills; formal qualifications are not essential.
• A company vehicle or their own unbranded van, depending on the agreed rate.
