Job summary

Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to carry out general building repairs including plumbing, carpentry and plaster patching in tenanted properties across South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.

The role is largely lone working with occasional team collaboration. A company van and tools are supplied, and the position offers a stable, full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical or plumbing) or currently undertaking
• Bring original certification to interview; copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
• Full UK driving licence required for driving a company vehicle

Responsibilities

• Attend occupied or void properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance
• Resolve problems and inform customers of progress and outcomes
• Maintain tools, equipment and van stock according to procedures and budgets
• Provide accurate, timely progress information understandable to customers
• Respond to complaints and service failures to meet contract specifications
