Job summary

Sanctuary is seeking a Multi-Trade Operative to join our Operations Response team, covering sites across the Midlands and Shropshire. You will carry out repairs to occupied properties, from leaking taps to doors, fencing, groundworks and vinyl floor laying, on a 40-hour week with 8:00am-16:30pm.

You may work solo or in a team and participate in an emergency call-out rota, with a company van and power tools provided.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 2 in carpentry or electrical; plumbing Level 3 with WRAS/G3 certificate if applicable.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation.
• Skills in Plumbing, Carpentry and Joinery, kitchen and bathroom installations, UPVC door/window fitting.

Responsibilities

• Attend occupied properties to carry out repairs, fault fixing and maintenance within Social Housing.
• Resolve problems or initiate resolution, keeping customers informed.
• Maintain van stock levels and restock as needed.
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress of works.
• Provide out-of-hours cover via a call-out rota.
