Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd in the Southampton area is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our Voids team. You will undertake multi-trade work in domestic settings, including plumbing, plastering, tiling, and carpentry repairs, ensuring properties are ready for handover and deadlines are met.

You should hold Level 2 qualifications in Carpentry or Plumbing, have domestic/social housing experience, and a full UK Driving Licence.

Competitive basic salary of £37,700with the potential to earn up to £41,752

The Multi Trade Operative role:

• Undertaking multi trade work including jobs such as plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair works in a domestic setting, utilisingproblem-solving capabilities.
• Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repair work
• You will be responsible for ensuring our clients properties are ready for handover, working to deadlines and managing timeframes to ensure transitions run smoothly

What you will bring as a Multi Trade Operative:

• You will be qualified to Level 2 in either Carpentry or Plumbing, although other Level 2 trade qualifications are also welcomed.
• Domestic / social housing experience would be beneficial as would experience working void properties
• A full UK Driving License is essential for this role
