Job summary

Graham Rose is recruiting Multi-Trade Operatives in Horsham to repair social housing properties. You will handle carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering and flooring, refurbishing empty homes and installing kitchens and bathrooms.

You’ll use handheld devices to record progress and ensure safety and quality on every job. The role requires experience in housing repairs, driving a company van, and a strong focus on customer service and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out repairs and maintenance in housing or a similar environment.
• Strong practical skills across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, flooring).
• Experience completing carpentry or UPVC repairs.
• Competent in basic plumbing repairs, including removing and refitting sinks and toilets.
• Confident using handheld technology to record work, send emails and use internal systems.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Experience working in customers' homes or occupied environments.
• Holding a full UK driving licence and ability to drive a company van.

Multi Trade - Repairs

Location: Horsham

Salary: £36,000-£38,000 doa

Permanent position - Multiple positions are available

An established social housing contractor is looking to recruit experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to join its repair team.

Working across a range of trades, you'll complete repairs efficiently and safely, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit wherever possible. From carpentry and plumbing repairs to tiling, plastering and flooring work, you'll provide a reliable service that puts customers first. You'll keep customers informed throughout the repair process and ensure work is completed to a high standard.

The Role
