Job summary

Wates is hiring a skilled Multi Trader to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance in occupied social housing homes. You will perform general multi-trade tasks, diagnose repair issues, and keep residents informed with a professional approach.

You'll update job records on a mobile device, work to SLAs, and contribute to a supportive team. A proven trade background, NVQ Level 2, a valid UK driving licence, and social housing experience are required; DBS checks apply.

• Experience in social housing responsive maintenance.

You'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of responsive repairs and maintenance works within occupied social housing homes, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Typical tasks will include:

• General multi-trade repairs (carpentry, minor plumbing, patch plastering, basic tiling, etc.)
• Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day repair issues
• Working professionally in residents' homes with a strong customer focus
• Completing work to agreed SLAs and company standards
