Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a Multi Trade Operative to perform planned and reactive maintenance across residential properties in Hampshire and West Sussex. You’ll need a trade qualification, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work safely while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves record-keeping, tool and vehicle maintenance, and joining an on-call out-of-hours rota. Power tools ownership is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in customer-focused, target-driven environments.
• Able to work independently, manage workload, and solve problems.
• Good health & safety awareness.
• Social housing experience desirable.
• Candidates must have access to their own power tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in residential properties in Hampshire/West Sussex.

Multi Trade Operative

£19.71 per hour + company van

Hampshire/West Sussex

Multi Trade operatives required for a high quality and thriving housing association to carry out planned and reactive maintenance work in both occupied and empty residential properties in and around Hampshire and West Sussex. You should have previous experience in the same role and be qualified in at least one trade, ideally Carpentry and/or Plumbing.

You must work safely, deliver excellent customer service, keep accurate records, and maintain vehicle, tools, and stock to required standards. The successful candidate will be part of an on-call, out of hours rota. The rota will be discussed in more detail during the interview.
