Job summary

MMP Consultancy is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join a Social Housing contractor in Crawley. You will perform a broad range of maintenance tasks across occupied and void properties, delivering quality workmanship and excellent service.

The role requires experience in social housing, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to meet deadlines while working independently. A van and fuel card are provided for ongoing temporary work.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.

Multi Trade Operative

Location: Crawley
Pay Rate: 22 (CIS or Umbrella)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute break)

Overview

MMP is currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a Social Housing contractor. The role involves carrying out a wide range of repair and maintenance works within both occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.

• Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.

• Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative carrying out a range of maintenance and repair works.

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).

Essential Qualifications

• Recognised trade qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Asbestos Awareness certification (can be completed prior to the start date).
• Basic DBS Check.
