Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are seeking a Multi-Trade Operative to join Sanctuary Housing Association on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This full-time role delivers 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in Rochford.

Responsibilities include carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance to contract specifications, keeping accurate progress records, and providing clear information to customers. Essential qualifications include City & Guilds or NVQ 3, CSCS or health & safety certification,

Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification
• NVQ 3 or equivalent experience in 3 trades
• Health and Safety certification (e.g. CSCS)

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract and service specifications.
• Provide accurate progress information and advice that is easy for customers to understand; complete daily work records.
• Respond to complaints and breakdowns to meet customer expectations per contract and service specs.
• Resolve problems or initiate resolution, keeping customers informed per processes.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and stock is replenished per budget and procedures.
• Support, when applicable, special projects and change programmes aligned with Group objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed.
• Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
• Contribute, as appropriate, to special projects and change programmes in support of the Group's objectives.

Essential Requirements

• City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience in 3 relevant trades.
• Qualifications or certification in Health and Safety e.g. Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), Health and Safety passport scheme
• Full, current driving licence
