Templer HomeBuild is seeking a Multi Trade Operative to join our reactive repairs and voids teams in Newton Abbot. You will carry out plumbing, plastering, tiling and carpentry repairs across Teignbridge, focusing on planned and void refurbishments in residents' homes.

Working across Teignbridge, you'll deliver high-quality residential repairs, and void refurbishment works in our customers' homes.

Carry out a range of multi-trade domestic works, including plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and carpentry repairs. You'll use your fault-finding and problem-solving skills across both occupied and unoccupied properties.
Work primarily on planned and void refurbishment projects in vacant properties, including kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, with occasional reactive, emergency and routine repairs as required.
Complete a variety of repairs, such as fixing broken taps, repairing leaking pipes, unblocking drainage, and carrying out general kitchen and bathroom repair work.
Build positive working relationships with residents and colleagues while delivering a professional service in domestic settings.
Hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant trade. Experience working in domestic properties is essential, while experience in social housing is desirable but not essential.
Bring a genuine passion for improving people's homes to a high standard, supported by excellent customer service skills and a positive, collaborative approach.
A full UK driving licence is required.
