Job summary

Bromford is seeking a field-based Multi Skilled Engineer to carry out carpentry, plumbing and plastering within void properties across Herefordshire and surrounding areas. You will work independently across a designated patch, ensuring homes are safe, high-quality, and ready for new customers while supported by a collaborative team.

The role requires experience in carpentry, plumbing, and plastering, a strong commitment to quality workmanship, and a full UK driving licence.

We’re looking for passionate Multi Skilled Engineers who take pride in their craft, enjoy variety in their work, and want to be part of a team focused on improving homes and communities.

This is a field-based role within our Empty Homes (Voids) team, where you’ll play a key part in bringing properties back into use and ensuring they meet the highest standards for our customers.

We are currently expanding our Empty Homes team as part of a wider growth programme across Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL), creating exciting opportunities for engineers who want stability, development, and the chance to be part of a growing service.

About the role You’ll carry out a range of multi-skilled repairs and refurbishment works within void properties, including carpentry, plumbing, and plastering tasks.

Working across your local patch, you’ll help ensure homes are safe, high-quality, and ready for new customers to move into.

This is a mobile role, so you’ll be working independently across your designated area, supported by a strong, collaborative team.
