Tesco is seeking a Trade Maintenance Build Technician to cover Kent and East Sussex. You’ll join a skilled team responsible for a wide range of building maintenance tasks—planned and reactive—keeping stores and carparks safe, functional, and welcoming for customers and colleagues.

You will perform brickwork, carpentry, pothole repairs, drainage maintenance, and multi‑trade repairs. The role is hands‑on with varied daily challenges, offering ongoing training and opportunities to progress within

Qualifications

• Solid background in general building work and multi-trade repairs.
• Experience with brickwork, carpentry, paving or groundworks is desirable.
• Commitment to high standards and safe working practices.

Responsabilités

• Carry out general building maintenance across Tesco sites to keep stores safe and welcoming.
• Complete planned and reactive repairs with first-time fix focus.
• Handle tasks such as brickwork, carpentry, pothole repairs and drainage maintenance.
• Work independently and as part of a team to resolve issues quickly.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders clearly.
• Use problem-solving to identify practical solutions.
• Manage tasks to completion and update through mobile devices and business systems.
• Weekend work may be required and paid as overtime.
