Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to cover Notting Hill Gate and surrounding areas. You’ll be hands-on, maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

You will use your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues quickly, prioritising safety, compliance and quality, with ongoing training and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent is required.
• Health & Safety awareness is essential.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills preferred.
• Familiarity with Office 365 and digital tools desired.
• Completion of relevant training modules is expected.

Responsibilities

• Interact with external contractors to coordinate repairs.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver quality service.
• Maintain high energy levels while juggling tasks.
• Support management to keep stores operating smoothly.
• Minimise disruption to customers when coordinating repairs.
• Ensure Tesco sites are safe and functional for customers and staff.
• Follow the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fix and efficiency.
• Share best practices with colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Carry out general day-to-day store and property maintenance.
• Utilise mobile devices to update work progress and communicate.
