Your new company

You will be working for a housing association on social housing repairs. The role is a temp to perm opportunity with the permanent role paying £37,425 + Van and excellent benefits including 28 days holiday.

Your new role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Responsive Repairs team as a multi-skilled operative with a high skill level as a Carpenter, working around Petersfield, Horndean, Southampton, and surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for delivering carpentry maintenance repairs and installations, as well as additional work within your skill set.

As a team player, you'll carry out work and installations efficiently, ensuring all tasks meet good building maintenance standards.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Carrying out carpentry repairs and installations in an effective manner,
• Ensuring all work is planned, scheduled, and completed to customer satisfaction.

You will be on call approximately once every 8 weeks, with a standby pay of £157 per week and payment for first attendance.

You must hold a full driving license.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be an experienced carpenter and multi-trader, ideally with social housing and property maintenance experience.

Having a full driving license is essential.
