Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative in Taunton to carry out maintenance work on social housing properties. You will handle a range of trades including tiling, carpentry, plumbing and decorating, delivering reliable, high‑quality workmanship.

This is a permanent role with a salary of £34,000–£36,000 per year, plus a company van, fuel card and 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays).

Qualifications

• Good multi trade experience.
• Previous experience working within social housing.
• NVQ or equivalent in a trade i.e. Carpentry or Plumbing.
• Good attitude.
• Honest and reliable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• DBS will be done for successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of maintenance work in social housing properties.
• Completing a variety of works in various trades.
• Tiling, carpentry, plumbing, decorating etc.
• Able to rip out and refit full kitchens and bathrooms.
• Driving a company van safely.
• Reporting to your supervisor.
• Speaking to customers and making them feel at ease.

Experienced Multi Trade Operative required in Taunton to work on social housing properties doing all aspects of maintenance work.

This is a really exciting permanent opportunity with a salary of £34-36,000 per annum plus a van, fuel card and 21days holiday bank holidays. (salary dependent on qualifications and could increase after probation)
