Job summary

Randstad Staffing is seeking a Multi Trade Bathroom Fitter for a maintenance contractor undertaking upgrades on local authority properties in the UK. You will perform bathroom fitting and a range of carpentry/plumbing tasks to a high standard.

Working across tenanted properties, you will be multiskilled, with a valid driving license and NVQ2 or time served experience. You must be able to work to tight deadlines and maintain good client relationships while delivering quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ level 2 or time served in carpentry/masonry/plumbing.
• Experience across carpentry and plumbing on varied properties.
• Full driving license (clean) and ability to undertake physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bathroom fitting and multi-trade tasks.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, decorating and floor work.
• Maintain high quality service and customer relationships.
• Work to tight timescales within a maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

Job description

Multi Trade Bathroom Fitter needed for a Maintenance Contractor undertaking upgrades on local authority properties.

Responsibilities:

• Ability toundertake a wide variety of Carpentry, plumbing and other trades tasks at a multiskilled level
• Provide a high-quality service to customers and maintain a good customer relationship
• This will include full Bathroom fitting work.
• Daily jobs will include Carpentry, plumbing, tiling, lock changes, patch plastering, decorating and floring.

Requirements:

• Have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the building and maintenance industry.
• Full current driving license.
• Competent to complete a wide variety carpentry, plumbing and other trade tasks at multiskilled level
• Demonstrable experience with a variety of carpentry and plumbing works across a variety of properties
• Minimum NVQ level 2, or time served experience in either carpentry, masonry and/or plumbing with proven competency in non-core trades.
• Experience of working as part of a trade team delivering to tight timescales
• Full Driving licence (clean)
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
