Job summary

First Military Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer in Bromborough to provide hands-on maintenance for production teams. You will respond to breakdowns, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and drive plant reliability through improvements.

The role operates on a rotating 4-on 4-off shift pattern, requires knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and safe isolation procedures, and aims to meet KPIs and safety standards within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• BTEC Engineering Certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical, PLCs, and inverter assets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site assets to a high standard.
• Execute planned and reactive maintenance safely.
• Drive plant reliability through hands-on interventions and analysis.
• Apply safe systems of work and risk assessments.
• Deliver on engineering KPIs.
• Coach production colleagues to enhance equipment knowledge.
• Promote a culture of professional engineering and continuous improvement.
