Job Title: Multi Skilled Plumber/Carpenter

Salary: Temp to Perm – Up to £36,691 + Van and Benefits

Location: Covering Eastleigh, Southampton, Andover and Surrounding areas

Purpose of job: To deliver an efficient, compliant, and high standard repairs service for customers, ensuring customer satisfaction is central to every job.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Complete a variety of carpentry, plumbing, and other trade tasks at a multiskilled level, in line with NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent. Tasks include plumbing, carpentry, and masonry, both internally and externally.
• Ensure work is carried out to professional standards, adhering to regulations and best practices.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to communicate progress and actions; escalate complex issues to line managers.
• Provide high-quality customer service and maintain good relationships, acting as company ambassadors.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures, including risk assessments and safe working practices.
• Complete jobs on time and first time where possible.
• Use a 'Schedule of Rates' for job costing and ensure repair orders are accurate.
• Be available for out-of-hours emergency call-outs as per rota.
• Accurately record progress, timesheets, and materials using company systems on smartphones or tablets.
• Procure materials through approved suppliers following company policies.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required

• Proficient in carpentry, plumbing, and other trades at a multiskilled level.
• Experience with diverse carpentry and plumbing works across various properties.
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience in carpentry, masonry, or plumbing with competency in non-core trades.
• Experience working in a trade team under tight deadlines.
• Valid full driving license (clean).
• Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks.
• Demonstrates company values and behaviors.
