We’re looking for an experienced FRA Carpenter Multi to join our Fire Safety team! Contractually based in Basingstoke, you'll be working across the North Hampshire area. This is a full time, permanent role, working 39 hours per week.

Here’s the facts about the role

As a FRA Carpenter Multi, you’ll carry out high quality repairs, maintenance and refurb works, as well as pre/post work inspections to our properties. This’ll mostly be in carpentry, but you’ll carry out other skilled works which may include the following:

• Boxing in - remove and replace & Partition/Wall plates
• furniture adjustment/removal
• Installing doors and windows
• Locks

This role will involve some light admin duties and the use of an electronic handheld device.

You’ll be qualified to NVQ level 2 in carpentry (or equivalent) and will need to provide proof of your qualifications at interview stage – however qualified by experience may be considered. You’ll have demonstrable experience of working in a multi-skilled role and will have a full, clean, current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) so you can drive a company van.

• Working at heights
• Manual handling and lifting heavy and bulky items
• A high degree of mobility, which will include walking/lifting/loading and unloading vehicles
