Job summary

whg is seeking Multi-Skilled Plasterers to deliver high-quality repairs to our properties across Walsall and surrounding areas. This permanent, 37-hour per week role offers local work, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package.

You will undertake plastering and related trades, ensure safety, manage van stocks, and provide excellent customer service while meeting KPI targets. Join a trustworthy, respectful and collaborative team committed to safe housing.

Qualifications

• Experienced plasterer with multi-trade skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a range of plastering and refurbishment tasks.
• Willing to work across WHG properties in the Walsall area.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a wide range of plastering and other multi-trade tasks (e.g., bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing, mould remediation).
• Inspect and diagnose jobs and adopt a first-time fix approach.
• Maintain van stocks and ensure safe keeping of tools, equipment and materials.

• Undertake a wide range of Plastering and other multi-trade tasks, such as bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing and mould remediation.
• Undertaking works that range from minor patching or repairs to larger refurbishment jobs.
• Inspect and diagnose jobs, always adopting a ‘fix where possible approach.
• Work efficiently to a high standard, attending appointments scheduled via your hand-held device.
• Maintaining van stocks to an agreed level and always taking responsibility for your van stocks.
• Ensuring the safe keeping of vehicle, plant, tools, equipment and materials supplied by whg.
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures, including wearing PPE, adhering to risk assessments and work instructions.
• Delivering excellent customer service whilst achieving set KPI’s adopting a ‘first-time fix’ approach.
