Job summary

Parker Jones Group Ltd in Guildford is seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative with strong plastering skills to maintain and repair occupied residential properties across Guildford and surrounding areas.

The role involves plastering, basic plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance, using a PDA to record works, and delivering high standards of safety and customer service. Competitive salary up to £40,660 p.a. with company vehicle and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong plastering skills, ideally supported by an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Multi-trade experience across areas such as plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Previous experience working within occupied/tenanted residential properties.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 minimum.
• Comfortable using a PDA or mobile technology.
• Clean, valid UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.

Multi Trade Operative - Plasterer

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Salary: Up to £40,660 per annum, depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join an established property services contractor delivering a long-term residential maintenance contract across Guildford and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with strong plastering experience and additional knowledge of plumbing, carpentry or general property maintenance.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied residential properties, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
