Job summary

One Manchester Limited in Manchester is seeking a Multi-Skilled Painter & Decorator to join our Repairs Team. You will perform a wide range of painting, decorating, and related maintenance tasks across tenanted and void homes, visiting sites with a company vehicle.

The role emphasizes high-quality workmanship, a Right First Time approach, and responsive customer service within a 40-hour week and a full-time pattern. Close attention to safety and record-keeping is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Competence in painting and decorating (core trade), plus plumbing, plastering, joinery and tiling.
• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely, accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Working pattern: 11:30 - 20:00 on four weekdays, and 08:00 - 16:30 every Saturday

About the role

You’ll support the Repairs Team to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services across One Manchester properties, focusing on excellent customer service and a "Right First Time" approach.
