Job summary

One Manchester is offering an Apprentice Plumber position in Manchester. The role supports qualified repairs and maintenance operatives to deliver plumbing repairs and maintenance across domestic and commercial properties, following One Manchester policies and safety standards.

You will attend college toward an NVQ Level 3 Plumbing qualification, with a 40-hour work week, on a fixed-term apprenticeship contract, and a salary of £27,964 per year. Closing date is 20 August 2026.

About The Role

You'll support the qualified repairs and maintenance operatives of our Repairs Team in delivering high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, safety, and customer service in line with One Manchester policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with plumbing repairs and emergency works across One Manchester properties, including traditional, new-build, and commercial premises.
• Work from verbal and written instructions, drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
• Organise workload effectively to meet deadlines, targets, and quality standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and tidy work areas and leave properties in good condition.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Attend college and complete training towards an NVQ Level 3 Plumbing qualification.
• Support One Manchester's business objectives and performance targets.
• Accurately record data and report any data quality issues promptly.

• Commitment to learning to drive and obtaining a driving licence.
• Commitment to completing a Level 3 Domestic Plumbing qualification (or equivalent).
• Willingness to achieve English and Maths qualifications if not already held.
