Job summary

Equans in Leeds is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join our permanent team. The role delivers repair, maintenance and refurbishment work across trades, prioritising first-time resolution and high quality customer service.

You will work 40 hours per week (12:30-21:00), hold a valid CSCS card, and have NVQ level 2 / City & Guilds in key trades. A driving licence is required, and you will participate in out-of-hours callouts when required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Building Maintenance Multi-Trade Repair and Refurbishment Operations or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 / City and Guilds qualifications in key trades (Plumbing, Carpentry, Plastering, Joinery etc).
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in Construction.
• Current valid driving license and CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment tasks in a multi-skilled capacity.
• Attend and complete repair appointments punctually and aim for first-time resolution.
• Ensure safe use and condition of company tools, equipment, and fleet vehicles.
• Minimise disruption to customers' homes and maintain tidiness during tasks.
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency repair rota as required.
