As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and improving our properties, ensuring that we deliver a high-quality repairs service. Your day-to-day tasks will include general plumbing, carpentry, tiling, and patch plastering. You'll manage a busy workload, working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Every job you complete will contribute to keeping our homes at the highest standard, so the ability to work flexibly and effectively is essential.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Multi Skilled Operative Requirements
- Previous experience in a repairs or maintenance role
- Broad knowledge and practical experience of building maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and plastering
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under your own initiative and manage a varied workload
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the Vale region and beyond
Multi Skilled Operative Benefits
- Salary: £30,019 to £31,598
- 24 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days, plus bank holidays
- Sick pay: 1 month full pay plus 1 month half pay after probation
- Free home-to-work travel within a 30-mile radius of our head office
