Job summary

Rolls-Royce Denby, Derbyshire is hiring a Manufacturing Services Technician – Multi‑Skilled to perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on production equipment. The role supports the Manufacturing Services Manager and Engineer to meet company objectives.

You will carry out reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, interpret diagrams, and analyse data to optimise maintenance strategies. The position requires an advanced apprenticeship and multi‑skilled capabilities.

Qualifications

• Completed advanced‑level apprenticeship in engineering with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
• Experience in a multi‑skilled role and a desire to develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Use precision diagnostic instruments and analyse data to inform maintenance decisions.
• Read and interpret machinery drawings, circuit diagrams and maintenance manuals.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate preventive and planned maintenance with production staff and leaders.
• Support induction and cross‑training of team members.
