Job summary

Rolls-Royce in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Manufacturing Services Technician - Mechatronics to support the Manufacturing Services Leader and Engineer in delivering plant objectives. You will diagnose, repair and maintain production assets across the facility to keep equipment safe, available and reliable.

Working a 3-shift pattern (Morning, Afternoon and Nights), you will use precision diagnostic instruments, analyse equipment data and read drawings to guide maintenance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant time served apprenticeship.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic pneumatics principles and operation.
• Basic IT literacy.
• Understanding of local and regional HSE Standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on plant assets and production equipment to keep equipment safe, available and reliable.
• Utilise precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance.
• Analyse equipment data to inform and implement the most effective maintenance approach.
• Collect, organise, and analyse data in support of KPIs for Manufacturing Services.
