Job summary

Rolls-Royce Denby, Derbyshire, is recruiting a Manufacturing Services Technician - Multi-Skilled. The role involves diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on production equipment within a high-technology manufacturing environment.

You will support the Manufacturing Services Manager and collaborate with production teams to ensure safety, reliability and performance. The ideal candidate will hold an advanced-level engineering apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) and have experience in a multi-skilled

Qualifications

• Understanding mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
• Experience in a multi-skilled role and a desire to develop further.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams and manuals essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on manufacturing assets.
• Utilise precision diagnostic instruments and analyse equipment data for maintenance decisions.
• Collect, organise and analyse data to support KPIs.
• Read machinery drawings, circuit/logic diagrams and schematics for maintenance and diagnostics.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to equipment and procedures.
• Coordinate preventive and planned maintenance with Production staff and Leaders.
• Support induction and cross-training of team members.
