Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation in Rotherham invites applications for an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Services Technician. The role includes diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of manufacturing assets across production facilities, with a focus on safety, reliability and performance.

The successful candidate will perform routine and preventive maintenance, operate site equipment, and drive improvements to equipment and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Advanced engineering apprenticeship in a multi-skilled field or electrical/electronic/mechanical discipline (NVQ/SVQ 3 or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
• Basic IT literacy and ability to process work orders and pull reports from a CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, repair and maintain CNC machines, wax injection machines, furnaces and production equipment.
• Perform routine, reactive and preventive maintenance; use precision diagnostic instruments.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are safe, reliable and high performing.
• Safely operate site equipment with proper training.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Suggest improvements to work instructions for electrical installation/maintenance strategy.
