Job summary

Coventry University Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver high-quality maintenance and facilities services across its estate. This hands-on, multi-skilled role covers reactive repairs, planned maintenance, minor projects, and space configurations.

You will work across diverse buildings, support moves and events, and ensure safety compliance. A full driving licence and willingness to travel between Coventry locations are required, with familiarity with CAFM systems valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and facilities services.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry and fabric repairs.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements and safe systems of work.
• Ability to travel between Coventry University Group locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality maintenance and facilities service across the Estate.
• Carry out reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Undertake minor project works and space reconfigurations as required.
• Support internal moves, furniture installations and event setups.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CAFM system and report defects.
