Job summary

Coventry University Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver high-quality maintenance across its estate. This hands-on role includes reactive repairs, PPM, and minor projects to keep buildings safe, compliant, and well-presented.

Ideal candidates will have multi-trade skills, practical experience in plumbing and carpentry, and a good understanding of health and safety requirements. Willingness to travel between Coventry locations and occasional overnight stays is expected.

Qualifications

• Experienced maintenance professional with background in building maintenance or multi-trade environments.
• Practical skills in plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
• Familiar with door furniture, locks and minor building adaptations.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety requirements and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality maintenance and facilities service across Coventry University Group's estate.
• Carry out reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and minor projects.
• Ensure buildings remain safe, compliant, functional and well-presented.
• Support moves, furniture installations, event setups and space reconfigurations.
• Maintain accurate records using CAFM system and report defects.
