Job summary

Workchain is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Wednesbury (WS10 7DE) to maintain automated production lines. The role combines electrical and mechanical duties, fault-finding and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure safe, reliable operation.

The position offers up to £50,000 per year, 40 hours weekly, and a rotating two-week shift pattern including one Saturday per month, with a comprehensive benefits package including pension, health benefits and 25

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with PLC fault-finding and automated machinery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on production machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain filling machines, seaming, blow moulding equipment, pumps and related equipment.
• Complete electrical installations in accordance with 18th Edition regulations.
