Job summary

Omega is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer in the Shropshire area (near Telford and Birmingham) for a permanent role.

The position offers a competitive package including up to £70,000, a £5,000 signing bonus, an £8,000 relocation allowance, and a £2,000 minimum performance bonus, plus overtime paid at 1.5× and a pension plan.You will service, repair, and maintain machinery, examine equipment, and implement improvements under planned schedules, with opportunities to lead mini-projects to boost

Qualifications

• ONC – Multi‑skilled Engineering qualification.
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, maintenance, or similar manufacturing.
• HND or HNC Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

• Service, adjust, repair machinery and equipment using appropriate tools safely and properly.
• Examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules.
• Propose and implement mini‑projects to improve plant performance, including machinery modifications.

Education
