Job summary

Omega Resource Group is recruiting a Multiskilled Utilities/Site Services Engineer for a major FMCG site in Shropshire, West Midlands. The role focuses on maintaining steam, CHP, water, effluent, and process plant utilities to keep a large manufacturing operation running.

You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance, fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems, and drive continuous improvements using CMMS.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship-based engineering with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Multi-skilled background in factory services within manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding capability.
• Experience with Steam Boilers, CHP, Water/Effluent treatment, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and reactive maintenance of utility and process assets.
• Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Support site reliability and performance improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and use CMMS/PMS systems.
• Coach operators on asset care activities and support planned maintenance.
• Manage OEM and supplier liaison when required.
