Job summary

Omega Resource Group seeks a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a continental shift role at their Bridgwater site. You will service and repair heavy machinery, perform preventive maintenance and drive continuous improvement initiatives on a high‑volume production environment.

Candidate qualifications include ONC or equivalent in multi-skilled engineering; NVQ Level 3, and HND/HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering. The package includes a £53k base, £8k bonus, with total around £75k.

Qualifications

• ONC or higher in multi-skilled engineering.
• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• HND/HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Service, adjust and repair machinery using proper tools safely.
• Examine machinery and report condition, performance and improvements.
• Perform planned and preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Suggest ideas for mini projects to improve plant performance.

Key Responsibilities – Multi-Skilled Engineer

• To service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner
• To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules
• Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant performance, including machinery modifications

Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Engineer

• ONC - Multi-skilled Engineering
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing
• HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
• Or the equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background
• FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beveragand e, chemicals are most welcome
