Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a world-leading manufacturer in the food and beverage sector. You will join a 24/7 engineering team, carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and driving TPM and continuous improvement to maximise uptime.

The ideal candidate has multi-skilled mechanical and electrical engineering experience, PLC knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical engineering skills with multi-skills.
• Experience with PLCs and process control systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, flexible, hands-on approach.
• Strong independent working capability with minimal supervision.
• Experience in manufacturing (ideally food production).
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience with TPM practices.
• Background in fast-paced production environments.

As a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of site machinery and services. Working as part of a 24/7 engineering team, you will support maintenance, maximise equipment uptime, and contribute to continuous improvement across operations.
