Job summary

Myton Food Group in Winsford, Cheshire, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve our FMCG manufacturing equipment. This hands-on role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and minimizing downtime across production lines.

You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, changeovers, and collaborate with production teams to boost reliability. NVQ3 or equivalent, and knowledge of conveyors, pumps and packaging equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent qualifications required.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in FMCG environments.
• Experience with conveyors, pumps and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns with diagnoses and repairs.
• Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to support line efficiency.
• Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify process improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies.
