Job summary

CV Technical is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for a busy food manufacturing site in Grimsby. You will join the engineering and maintenance team to maintain and improve production equipment, ensuring reliability and efficiency across the site.

The role requires hands-on engineers with fault-finding skills, a strong electrical background, and the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or engineering qualified.
• Strong electrical maintenance background.
• Multi-skilled with good mechanical knowledge.
• Experience fault finding on production equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work independently.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a busy and well-established food manufacturing operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a forward-thinking business where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving production equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and efficiency across the site.

The Role

Working as part of the engineering and maintenance team, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities across a range of automated production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
