Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment based in Wellingborough. The role offers long‑term stability, training and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site machinery
• Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns and fault‑find efficiently
• Work on a range of production and automated equipment
• Support continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
• Assist with mechanical maintenance when required

Requirements

• Apprentice trained or qualified Electrical Engineer
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or industrial environments
• Strong electrical fault‑finding abilities
• Experience with motors, sensors, conveyors, inverters, PLCs or automation equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
