Job summary

Brazen Search in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain production machinery and site equipment, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation on a fast-paced manufacturing site.

You will perform a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work, fault-find across electrical and mechanical systems, support machine modifications and upgrades, and keep detailed maintenance records in collaboration with production and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering is required.
• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG environments preferred.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Fault-find on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, sensors, drives and control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Carry out equipment inspections and identify potential failures.
• Support machinery modifications, installations and engineering improvement projects.
• Complete maintenance records and engineering documentation.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work safely and comply with site procedures.
• Prioritise breakdowns and maintenance with production teams.
