Job summary

ATA Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a Matlock, Derbyshire site. You will perform both reactive and preventive maintenance on large plant equipment, including mixers, silos and conveyors, with strong emphasis on electrical and mechanical fault finding.

A tablet-based job tracking system is used to log work, with overtime opportunities and stable career development. The role requires an NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in engineering, a proactive attitude, and flexibility for

Qualifications

Strong maintenance background in manufacturing environments.
Experience working on mechanical and electrical components and adherence to H&S regulations.
Confidence with strip-downs, rebuilds, and reactive maintenance.
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in engineering.
Overtime flexibility and willingness to develop further.

Responsibilities

20% reactive and 70% PPM maintenance using a tablet system for job tracking.
Work with a range of machinery including mixers, silos, conveyors, packaging equipment and palletisers.
Fault finding experience with PLCs is advantageous.
