Job summary

W Talent represents a manufacturing company based in Nottingham (Alfreton) seeking a permanent Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will support production through proactive and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and continuous improvement to ensure high engineering and safety standards.

The role covers electrical and mechanical fault-finding, PMs, CMMS updates and close liaison with planning teams. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience and a strong eye for safety, quality and

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification required.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Electrical fault-finding experience.
• Mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Good understanding of preventative maintenance systems.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and repair to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across site equipment.
• Work with health and safety procedures including LOTO and risk assessments.
• Manage and action engineering reports through the CMMS.
• Update maintenance activities and completed work in CMMS.
• Communicate with planning teams and managers on machine status and repairs.
• Prepare shift reports detailing engineering activities undertaken.
• Coordinate with machine manufacturers for diagnosis when needed.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are completed on time.
