D R Newitt & Associates are working with a close client in the Food Industry who due to growth are looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. This role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern (days and nights) with a salary of £48,000-£49,000 and unique company benefits.

Key duties include electrical and mechanical maintenance, breakdowns, reactive and planned works, and installation of machinery.

Qualifikationen

• UK recognised electrical or mechanical qualification – NVQ level 3/equivalent or above.
• Ability to fault find in electrical and mechanical machines/systems.
• Ability to read Electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
• Basic PLC I/O understanding.
• Conversion qualifications (to Elec/Mech).
• Good understanding of drives, motors, brakes, transmissions, closed loop feedback, transducers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines e.g production start up.
