Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited in East London is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site. You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery to keep downtime low and reliability high.

The role requires at least 2 years\' experience, electrical or mechanical bias, NVQ Level 3, and ability to work a 4 on/4 off shift (days and nights). The company offers a competitive salary and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a maintenance engineering role.
• A multi-skilled engineering background, with either an electrical or mechanical bias.
• Previous experience working within manufacturing or FMCG.
• An NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern covering days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing faults quickly to minimise production downtime.
• Improving machine performance and equipment reliability.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Working as part of the engineering team to ensure production targets are achieved.

The Role
