Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd are recruiting a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for an FMCG site in Middleton, Manchester. You will join a well established maintenance team on a 3-shift pattern, carrying out routine and breakdown maintenance on packaging lines and ancillary plant.

Ideally you have an engineering apprenticeship, 2+ years post-apprenticeship experience, and electrical bias with knowledge of 3-phase systems. NVQ or 18th edition desirable. Apply with INDENM.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in engineering (manufacturing) is required.
• NVQ or 18th edition desirable.
• 2+ years post-apprenticeship experience.
• Knowledge of electrical machine infrastructure, 3-phase systems, wiring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing equipment including granulators, shredders, balers, conveyors.
• Work on hydraulics and pneumatics on a 3-shift system.
• Collaborate with the established maintenance team.

Friday

6:00 - 13:00 / 12:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 02:00

Due to a retirement, an opportunity has come up for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer within an FMCG environment. Working with a well established team on a 3 shift arrangement, you will be working on the maintenance of various manufacturing equipment. Equipment covers granulators, shredders, balers, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics etc. Due to the make up of the team, we're ideally looking for an electrical bias.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship within engineering ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Additional qualifications like NVQ, 18th edition etc are desirable
• 2+ years experience post apprenticeship
• Knowledge of electrical machine infrastructure, 3 phase systems, wiring etc
• Strong communication and a willingness to work as part of a team
