Job summary
Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy, automated factory in Bury. You will apply electrical maintenance, fault finding and preventative tasks to keep production lines running smoothly.
The role requires PLC experience, reading schematics, and an electrical qualification. Monday to Friday shift with overtime available; no night shifts. The company offers a pension and parking facilities, with training opportunities to develop skills.
Qualifications
- Electrical bias with hands-on maintenance experience.
- Able to read electrical schematics.
- Experience with PLCs in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Electrical bias
- Level 3 Electrical qualification as a minimum
- Full rights to work in the UK
- Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience
- Able to understand electrical schematics
- Experience with PLC's (inputs/outputs)
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- IOSH qualification desirable
- Experience working within an FMCG environment
