You will maintain production efficiency across processing and packaging lines, carrying out PPM and fault diagnosis.
£37 per hour, Outside IR35, minimum 3-month contract with potential extension, and a 4 on/4 off shift pattern covering days and nights.

We are currently seeking experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers for an exciting contract opportunity within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining production efficiency across a range of processing and packaging equipment, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment.
Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently.
Minimise equipment downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment modifications.
Assist with project work and engineering improvements where required.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with food manufacturing standards.
Work across a range of high-speed processing and packaging machinery.
Strong multi-skilled maintenance engineering experience.
Proven electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilities.
Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar production environment is preferred.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Flexibility to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern covering days and nights.
Immediate or short-notice availability would be advantageous.
Experience working with processing and packaging machinery.
Previous experience within a food or dairy manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of high-speed production equipment, including conveyors, fillers, labellers, mixers, silos and similar machinery.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
£37 per hour
