Job summary

Synergi Search & Select is seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers on a contract basis for a major food industry client. You will support production, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and keep plant and equipment running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background with electrical or mechanical bias, experience in a manufacturing environment, and proven fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled engineering background required.
• Electrical or mechanical bias preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and maintenance skills.
• Able to work across a double-day shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant and production equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and/or mechanical faults.
• Support production by ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Respond effectively to breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Complete maintenance activities to a high standard and in line with site requirements.

• Availability to start ASAP.
